Hall Hire

The Villagers' Hall is available to book. As events come in different shapes and sizes, the following prices are to be used as a guide, the total cost of the event will be confirmed at the time of booking when the nature of the event is understood:

Hourly rate: Locals (residents of Field Dalling or Saxlingham) £10;  Non-local hourly rate £12.

Daily rate: Locals £60; Non-locals £75

Fri/Sat night party bookings: £100

Government rate: £150 per day.  ​

For evening bookings, especially weekends, we will only accept bookings by locals, known entities/groups or non-locals championed by a local.  Depending on the nature of the booking, a discretionary cleaning charge may be added or a damage deposit taken.

The booking system is hosted on a third party site; a booking request can be completed by clicking on the + sign for the required date in the calendar below.  Once the online booking request is sent, you will receive an automated email of your provisional booking request; one of the venue administrators will then check the availability and confirm the booking. By proceeding with the hall booking, you agree to the Terms and Conditions of hire. Please also see the Village Hall Policies page.
