New Pétanque Piste

With the much-appreciated support of Jono’s team at Albanwise the Pétanque piste was successfully excavated in July without any lasting damage to aging villagers’ backs. Thanks also to Pete at Wordingham plant hire for the free loan of the whacker plate.

Subsequently some “willing” village volunteers have shifted many, many, many tons of aggregate and built the best piste in Norfolk! 

A big thank you to everyone who got involved and worked together to make this happen for the Village Hall. Thanks again everyone.

Officially open for all villagers to use from the beginning of August, there will be more details to follow next month on the soon to be created Field Dalling & Saxlingham Pétanque club.
